Last year, DPO participated in the ILO Global Summit, and we presented our work through the work of our dedicated committee all year round.

​

The International Labour Organization (ILO) Disability Inclusion Strategy 2024-27 is the ILO’s practical blueprint to implement disability inclusion in the ILO over the next four years. It builds on the achievements of the ILO Disability Inclusion Strategy 2020-23 and aims to be more ambitious and overarching. The new Strategy promotes the principles of the ILO Disability Inclusion Policy, and it is the result of extensive dialogue throughout the organization, both at headquarters and the field. Buy-in across the Office is reflected by the fact that Senior Managers, Offices, Departments and Branches take on responsibility for action under this Strategy according to their particular mandates.
